Rob Christiansen is generally considered the most important player in the 1990s Washington DC music scene. He was a prolific multi-instrumentlist at the time, and his peers credit him with inventing the sound and fueling the creative spirit of the 1990s music community -- particulary in Arlington, Virginia, where he lived. He was amicable, creative, and admired and well respected by all.
